Dear Buckhorn Road Property Owner,
I wanted to share some great news. You will be getting an official letter from the Ridgewood Fire Safe Council (RFSC) next week detailing a FREE roadside brush clearing event happening in the next month or so. I have worked with the RFSC to include Buckhorn Road in this grant project. CALFIRE no longer deems our road unsafe since we fixed it earlier this year, and it is included in the project in Phase 2. In fact, since CALFIRE does not deem a couple of roads on Phase 1 as safe roads, we will probably be moved to Phase 1 (see letter next week for details).
You do not need to sign the form in the letter next week if you don’t have any issues with the brush clearing on the road as I will sign for the entire road as the de facto Chair. RFSC is carefully paying attention to all owners on any particulars about their property. If you have specific concerns about the brush clearing, you will want to fill out the form coming in the mail and return it using the self-stamped envelope that will be included in the mailing, or call the number that will be provided.
Please alert all owners on the road who might have strange addresses that RFSC might not reach, since the only method of communication will be by mail. If RFSC does not hear from property owners, it’s assumed work can go ahead on their section of the road. If you have any questions, please wait for the letter to learn more and then contact me or RFSC.
Sincerely,
Sean C
