Subject: Pause on Road Maintenance

We have not received all the necessary commitments to proceed with the road maintenance, so we must pause it until we receive more commitments. We have commitments for $7,011, and we need a total of $10,901. We are $3,890 short. If we were to distribute the full cost among the 9 people who have agreed to pay, that would increase the contribution from $779 to $1,211, an increase of $432. Ken R has contacted me to discuss alternatives, and if anything comes of it we'll discuss further. The advantage of doing the work with Garman is that the work covers the road from the entrance of Buckhorn Rd to the entrance of Shawn C and Leana AS property (previously Eileen's property). It's a long stretch but they did a fantastic job two years ago, when we last did road maintenance. It's pricey but worth it if all neighbors agree to contribute so we can not only have a nicer ride, but our vehicles won't require as much maintenance in the future.
